My Public Art Installations are aimed to challenge traditional wisdom of creating and experiencing painting as art, and includes all DOTART installations.
"LOVE DOT" is for instance a part of the ongoing: "May I project life" pirate project activated in every May since 2015, Toronto, New York, Venice.

To connect and reflect on the context of locations and themes of installations, a DOTART was started on the glass surfaces on multiple locations.

To connect and reflect on the installation in the space "background", a DOTART was created by writing the word LIFE for 15 minutes on a marble dot.
LIFE DOT was also exhibited in the same fassion at the ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM and the AGO.

"LOVE DOT"

To welcome YAYOI KUSAMA's art in Toronto, ten "LOVE DOT" was created and with a (give it forward) instruction was given to people on the streets of Toronto.
Most of them started they circulation at NATHAN PHILLIPS SQUARE, but the very first one was handed in the very first person in line at AGO waiting to enter the Kusama exhibition on opening day. This DOTART was made on a same diameter disc as previous marble love dots from the" DOTMAN may I project life" ongoing art project and each carried the word "Love" written for five minutes on them. To make life easier the choice of material was plastic instead of marble.
The objective of the project is to create face to face real time interactions and engage people to communicate with each other.

LIKE A MACHINE-LOVE A LIFE 2020

2020 May at AGO Toronto COVID TIME MOTHER'S DAY
During the 2020 Covid pandemic "DOTMAN may I project life" ongoing art project appeared. This time without public participation in the streets of Toronto.
and instead of a shape of a dot, a skull shape was used to be attached to the glass of the AGO Museum.
The title "LIKE A MACHINE-LOVE A LIFE 2020" is a reference to the age of the A.I. winning with it's glorified gadgetry we all fallen in love with.
The installation took place on mother's day.

LOVE DOT VENICE 2019

At the opening of the 58th Venice Biennale twelve "LOVE DOT" was given to randomly selected people on the streets of Venice, Italy.
Each is an original DOTART with one side the word "Love" written for five minutes, on the other side instruction and explanation of the project.
"DOTMAN may I project life" is an ongoing art project.
The objective of the project is to create face to face real time interactions and engage people to communicate with each other.
In a healthy society a "LOVE DOT" should remain in public hands indefinite..
